In this role, he is responsible for marketing the company’s key services, including M&A, valuations, recruiting, equity incentive plans, best practices, and succession planning. With his extensive expertise in financial strategy, Jaime plays a pivotal role in guiding businesses through complex financial transactions and long-term planning.
Jaime Carvallo graduated from the Universidad de Lima with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He launched his career in corporate banking as a Credit Officer for Commercial Banking at Banco de Crédito del Perú. During his tenure, he managed a loan portfolio worth $250 million for some of the largest import/export businesses in Peru. After demonstrating strong financial acumen and leadership, Jaime was promoted to the role of Senior Risk Analyst, further expanding his expertise in risk management and corporate finance.
Jaime Carvallo pursued further education at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned an MBA with a specialization in Strategic Management and a concentration in Finance and Marketing. His time at Wharton deepened his understanding of financial markets, corporate strategy, and global business operations, preparing him for leadership roles in the financial sector.
Jaime Carvallo’s post-MBA career took him to New York, where he became a Relationship Manager for Citigroup Private Bank. He then transitioned to HSBC Bank, where he served as Vice President for the International Private Bank. In this role, Jaime focused on developing the Andean Region market and advising high-net-worth Latin American clients on wealth management strategies. His expertise in private banking and international finance has made him a trusted advisor in the industry.
